Please contact our legislators in support of Oregon House Bill 2015. It would expand eligibility for a standard driver license to all state residents, regardless of citizenship status.

Specifically, HB 2015 eliminates the requirement that a person provide proof of legal presence in order to be eligible for a noncommercial driver license, noncommercial driver permit or identification card.

In order to receive a license, all applicants will have to pass the standard written test and driving test. That will make the roads safer for everyone.

Applicants will also have to provide proof of identity and residency, which will not be shared with the federal government.
