FRIDAY, AUG. 4
TWO-VEHICLE CRASH: No one was injured and no citations were issued after a two-vehicle crash at 11:46 a.m. at the intersection of Pioneer Street and North Eighth Street. One vehicle was towed due to damage.
SUNDAY, AUG. 6
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Philomath Police arrested Jeridd Arthur Robyn, 28, of Salem, at 6:30 p.m. at Philomath Market on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
MONDAY, AUG. 7
THEFT: Philomath Police responded at 5:30 p.m. to the 2600 block of Applegate Street for a reported gas theft that was just witnessed. Police arrested Jade Stagg, 19, of Lebanon, on scene and caught the second suspect, 24-year-old Geremy Byzewski of Albany, a short distance away. Byzewski allegedly gave police a false name and birthdate before his true identity was discovered. Byzewski was arrested on a warrant for a felony parole violation on an original charge of rape, and booked on new charges of third-degree theft, providing false information to police and second-degree criminal trespassing. Stagg was arrested on a charge of hindering prosecution.
TUESDAY, AUG. 8
DISTURBANCE: Philomath Police responded at 6:54 a.m. to a residence on the 100 block of North 15th Street for a verbal altercation between two people. The officer determined that the argument was about a previous incident at a bus stop and that no crime was being committed.
DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE: Philomath Police arrested Dylan Wright, 24, of Depoe Bay, on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at 10:04 p.m. on the 600 block of Main Street.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Philomath Police took a report of a bicycle side mirror and pair of sunglasses that were intentionally damaged at the Philomath Community Library. The mirror was valued at $10 and the sunglasses were valued at $125.
THURSDAY, AUG. 10
WARRANT ARREST: Philomath Police arrested Shelly Stevenson, 41, of Lebanon, on a warrant and for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at 12:34 a.m. on the 1100 block of Main Street.
