AUGUSTA, Ga. — Ellie Slama finished in a tie for 52nd place at the Augusta National Women's Amateur on Thursday. Slama was one of 72 of the world's best golfers to get invited to the inaugural event.
Slama shot a 9-over 75-78—153 at the par-72 Champions Retreat Golf Club.

The top 30 golfers after the first two rounds made the cut and advanced to the finals on Saturday at Augusta National.
Slama and the entire 72-player field will play August National in a practice round on Friday.
