FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — The Oregon State swim team capped off a strong run at the 69th Husky Invitational with a handful of NCAA B Standard times at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center on Sunday.
Sophomore Felicia Anderson and junior Arianna Letrari ended the invite on top of their respective prelims to put the Beavers in third among the women’s programs heading into the finals.
Anderson had her third NCAA B Standard in the 200 back with a time of 1 minute 59.13 seconds and the top spot in the prelims. She was just over a second behind her personal best of 1:58.07.
The Portland native ended her day with a new PR in the 100 free (51.71) and a 12th-place finish in the prelims.
Letrari notched her third-straight day with an NCAA B Standard off the top finish in the 200 fly prelims. Her time of 1:58.55 was more than a half-second better than her previous best.
The Oregon State 400 free relay team added a third-place finish in the prelims with a time of 3:29.97 for a new season best.
Freshman Callan Jackman was the third individual swimmer to post a new personal best, setting a time of 53.41 in the 100 free prelims and missing the cut for the finals by less than a half-second.
with finals this week, the Beavers did not stay for the final races at the invite. The Beavers had 361 points as a team following the day three prelims.
