Men’s basketball

Ben DeSaulnier (Philomath) was named to all-Cascade Collegiate Conference first team Wednesday.

He had eight points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals Saturday in a 67-50 loss at College of Idaho in a Cascade Collegiate Conference semifinal in Caldwell, Idaho.

A senior guard, DeSaulnier finished his career second in school history with 2,019 points.


Trey Ecker (Philomath) had five points, six rebounds and two assists Saturday in Linn-Benton’s 101-94 home win against Mount Hood.

Teammate Riley Davis (Philomath) added two rebounds and two assists.

Ecker had nine points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal Feb. 21 in a 90-68 win at Lane in Eugene. Davis had six points, three rebounds and a steal.

Women’s basketball

Leslie Robinson (Corvallis) had six points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals Saturday in Princeton’s 72-58 loss at Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Friday, she had 15 points (on 7-of-10 shooting), eight rebounds and nine assists in a 79-67 win at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire.


Jessica Sexson (Crescent Valley) had six points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in Eastern Oregon’s 63-52 home win against Southern Oregon in the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament championship in La Grande.

In a Friday semifinal, Sexson had seven points, four rebounds and an assist in a 77-65 home win against Oregon Tech.

Men’s lacrosse

Tomas Meade (Crescent Valley) scored a goal Saturday in Vassar’s season-opening 12-7 home win against Drew in Poughkeepsie, New York.


Nicole Whitney (Santiam Christian) was a combined 2 for 6 with a double, one run scored and a walk Feb. 22 in San Diego Christian’s doubleheader sweep at St. Katherine in Poway, California.

Game scores were 9-6 and 13-3 in five innings.


Hannah Yelas (Santiam Christian) was 0 for 1 Sunday in Northwest’s 15-6 loss in five innings at Concordia in Portland.

Saturday, she allowed eight hits, one earned run and two walks with two strikeouts Saturday in Northwest’s 3-2 loss at Concordia.


Jenica Neuffer (Corvallis) was 1 for 2 Saturday in Linfield’s 17-4 five-inning win at Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.


Tielar Murray (Monroe) was a combined 2 for 5 Saturday in Lane’s two home losses to Everett in Eugene. Game scores were 6-2 and 7-4.


Joe Casey (Crescent Valley) was 0 for 1 with a walk Sunday in a 6-1 win against Ohio State in Surprise, Arizona.


Corey Conklin (Crescent Valley) was 0 for 2 Sunday in Eastern Kentucky’s 13-1 loss at Virginia in Charlottesville.


Sean Little (Crescent Valley) is 2 for 3 with a stolen base for Willamette this season.
