J.D. Lasswell (Corvallis) caught two passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns Saturday in Linfield’s 35-7 win at Pacific in Forest Grove.

Teammate Will Heck (Crescent Valley) started on the offensive line.

Lasswell, a junior receiver, was named to the all-Northwest Conference first team. He had 25 catches for 505 yards and a conference-best nine touchdowns in the regular season.

Linfield (8-1) hosts Hardin-Simmons on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.


Grant Schroeder (Santiam Christian) threw for 166 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 16 yards Saturday in George Fox’s 21-7 win at Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.


Justin Marshall (Crescent Valley) had two tackles and rushed for 1 yard Saturday in Willamette’s 57-24 loss at Whitworth in Spokane, Washington.


Haylie Bennett (Philomath) had four kills, four block assists, two digs and a solo block Saturday in Oregon State’s five-set win at Arizona State.

Teammate Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had one kill, two block assists and a dig.

Bennett had five kills, four block assists and a dig Nov. 9 in a three-set sweep at Arizona. Gravley had four kills, five block assists and one dig.


Madison Milligan (Santiam Christian) had 32 assists, six digs and a kill Saturday in Corban’s five-set home win against College of Idaho in the Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament championship in Salem.

Friday, Milligan had 32 assists and 13 digs in a five-set home win against Northwest in a conference tournament semifinal.


Eleanor Belton (Corvallis) had four kills, two block assists and a solo block Nov. 8 in a three-set home win against Clackamas in Salem.


Hadley Heck (Crescent Valley) had three digs Nov. 9 in Portland State’s four-set loss at Weber State in Ogden, Utah.

Men’s basketball

Ben DeSaulnier (Philomath) had 22 points, three rebounds, six assists and three steals Tuesday in Southern Oregon’s 109-106 home win against Oregon Tech in Ashland.

Women’s basketball

Leslie Robinson (Corvallis) had 11 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block Friday in Princeton’s 72-52 home win against George Washington in Princeton, New Jersey.


Jessica Sexson (Crescent Valley) had five points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal Saturday in Eastern Oregon’s 71-67 loss to Montana Tech in Lewiston, Idaho.

Friday, she had six points and one rebound in a 54-49 win against Lewis-Clark State in Lewiston.


Grace Corbin (Corvallis) had one rebound Monday in Southern Oregon’s 62-60 win at San Francisco State.
