Madison Milligan (Santiam Christian) had 29 assists, 12 digs and two kills Wednesday in Corban’s five-set win against Indiana Wesleyan in the second round of pool play at the NAIA national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa.

The win advanced the Warriors to the round of 16 bracket.

Tuesday, Milligan had 19 assists, 15 digs and an ace in Corban’s three-set sweep of Missouri Valley in pool play.


Haylie Bennett (Philomath) had 13 kills, five block assists and four digs Friday in Oregon State’s five-set home loss to Oregon.

Teammate Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) added six kills, two solo blocks, seven block assists and five digs.

Men’s basketball

Ben DeSaulnier (Philomath) had 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal Saturday in Southern Oregon’s 76-74 loss to Westmont at the Bud Presley Classic in Atherton, California.

Friday, he had 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and one block in a 90-87 tournament loss to Menlo.


Trey Ecker (Phliomath) had 13 points, three rebounds and a steal Sunday in Linn-Benton’s 78-77 loss to Whatcom at the Pierce tournament in Steilacoom, Washington.

Teammate Riley Davis (Philomath) had three points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Saturday, Ecker had 21 points, including four 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 102-101 double-overtime tournament loss to Bellevue. Davis had two points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal.

A day earlier, Davis had eight points, three rebounds, four assists and five steals in a 113-81 tournament loss to Green River. Ecker added five points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals.


Cal Stueve (Philomath) had one rebound Saturday in Oregon Tech's 94-73 home win against California Maritime in Klamath Falls.


J.D. Lasswell (Corvallis) made four catches for 53 yards and had a tackle Saturday in Linfield’s 24-0 loss at Mary Hardin-Baylor in the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs in Belton, Texas.

Teammate Will Heck (Crescent Valley) started at offensive guard.


George Fox senior quarterback Grant Schroeder (Santiam Christian) was named to the all-Northwest Conference second team. Schroeder finished second in the conference in pass efficiency (134.2) and third in passing yards (1,772).

Bruins senior offensive lineman Chase Hudson (Santiam Christian) received honorable mention. Teammate Trent Hardin (Philomath), a senior linebacker, received the conference’s sportsmanship award for his character on and off the field.


Siskiyous freshman tight end Luke Fulford (Corvallis) had two receptions for 25 yards and one rush for 5 yards this season. He also had a tackle.

Teammate Ryan Duenas (Philomath), a sophomore defensive lineman, had eight tackles.

Women’s soccer

Brown senior defender Katy Schmidt (Crescent Valley) received all-Ivy League honorable mention.

Schmidt helped the Bears to an 11-5 record, with the program’s most wins since 2000. Brown recorded four shutouts for the first time since 1992.

Schmidt also received CoSIDA Academic All-District honors for the second straight season. Majoring in engineering, she has a 4.0 grade-point average.

Men’s soccer

Rogue sophomore defender Trenton Luebbert (Crescent Valley) was named to the all-Northwest Athletic Conference Southern Region team.

Women’s basketball

Leslie Robinson (Corvallis) had two points, 10 rebounds and six assists Saturday in Princeton’s 63-57 loss at Davidson (North Carolina).


Grace Corbin (Corvallis) had two points and two rebounds Saturday in Southern Oregon’s 78-70 loss to The Master’s at The Master’s Classic in Santa Clarita, California.


Jessica Sexson (Crescent Valley) had three rebounds Saturday in Eastern Oregon’s 79-65 loss to Montana Western in the Lady Yote Classic in Caldwell, Idaho.

Friday, she had two points and three rebounds in a 62-50 tournament win against Lewis-Clark State.


Oregon State’s Alex Rich (Crescent Valley) took second at 149 pounds at the Mike Clock Open in Forest Grove earlier this month.
