Here is a look at Friday’s prep football action. All games begin at 7 p.m.
Crescent Valley at Dallas
Records: Crescent Valley 7-0, 4-0 5A Mid-Willamette Conference; Dallas 2-5, 0-4 MWC
Top-ranked Crescent Valley can clinch at least a share of the conference title with a victory at Dallas. The Raiders have already locked up a postseason berth.
After sitting out last week’s 32-6 nonleague win over Forest Grove, senior two-way standout Talanoa Hufanga will play Friday, coach Scott Sanders confirmed.
The Dragons, who routed CV 49-12 a season ago, are trying to snap a five-game losing streak.
Glencoe at Corvallis
Records: Glencoe 6-1 (6A independent); Corvallis 3-4, 2-3 MWC
Corvallis is set to honor longtime athletic director Bob Holt prior to Friday’s homecoming game against 6A Glencoe.
Spartan Stadium will be officially renamed Bob Holt Stadium during a pre-kickoff ceremony.
It’s the final home game of the season for CHS, which returns to MWC action next Friday at Central. The Spartans could still reach the playoffs with some help.
Philomath at Yamhill-Carlton
Records: Philomath 1-6, 0-4 4A Oregon West Conference; Yamhill-Carlton 0-7, 0-4 OWC
Philomath hopes to close its season on a positive note at Yamhill-Carlton.
The Warriors have dropped six in a row since a 19-12 victory over Junction City in Week 1.
Yamhill-Carlton is coming off a 21-20 loss at Newport, which defeated the Warriors 29-28 on Sept. 29.
Amity at Santiam Christian
Records: Amity 6-1, 2-1 3A West Valley League; Santiam Christian 5-2, 3-1 WVL
Santiam Christian can clinch second place in the West Valley League with a victory in Adair Village.
Amity, which enters on a four-game winning streak, allows just 12 points per contest, the league’s second-best mark behind Willamina’s 9.6.
The Eagles won last year’s matchup 7-0 in Amity.
Oakland at Monroe
Records: Oakland 4-2, 0-2 2A Mountain View Conference; Monroe 5-1, 3-0 MVC
The Dragons have outscored the opposition 159-31 since a Week 2 loss at top-ranked St. Paul.
Monroe has already clinched the outright conference title and a spot in the 2A state round of 16.
Two weeks ago, the Dragons earned a 34-14 victory in Oakland.
