HALSEY — The Central Linn boys basketball team knocked off Jefferson 48-40 in a Central Valley Conference playoff game to earn a berth to the 2A state playoffs.

It was the third game in as many days for the Lions, who lost to Oakridge on Monday then defeated East Linn Christian on Tuesday to advance in the playoffs.

Jefferson is 14-9 and could still make the playoffs as an at large team.

The Cobras are 17-8.

Santiam Christian 58, Creswell 49

ADAIR VILLAGE — Josh Baugher had 20 points and seven assists as the Eagles closed out the regular season with the Mountain Valley Conference victory at home.

Santiam Christian is 22-3 overall and closed conference play at 10-2, with both losses coming to Pleasant Hill, which is 10-1 and closes out the regular season on Thursday.

Ben Galceran added 13 points for the Eagles, who will open the 3A state playoffs at home on Feb. 22.

Blanchet 55, Scio 47

SALEM — The Loggers saw their season end in the PacWest Conference playoff game. Scio ends the season 6-16.
