STAYTON — Trevor Sartnurak led the Philomath High boys track team to second at the Oregon West Conference meet on Saturday.

Sartnurak was named the outstanding male track athlete of the OWC after winning the 100, 200 and anchoring both relay teams to first.

Sartnurak won the 100 in 11.04 and the 200 in 22.85.

Mitchell Thomas won the 800 in 2:03.71 and Isaac Manning took first in the pole vault with a vault of 15-00.

The Philomath girls finished third. Emma Callender was seeded fourth in the 100 hurdles but won it in 16.33. She was also seeded eighth in the 300 hurdles and finished second.

Jenna Grunwald won the 800 in 2:29.50, Brandy Hendershott won the javelin with a throw of 117-0 and Rachel Seagren took first in the pole vault with a 9-08.
